Unless you include Saha being the penno taker. Missed one in the first minute in Melbourne.
Presume you'll be skulking in Plymouth until the gentle breezes die down? In which case, find the Devonshire, just up North St from Regent Street. Up in the warren of streets just uphill of the Uni and the battered church in the roundabout. Tis a bit of a difficult place to find but worth the trip. Great scran and proper beer there.

Seriously, I bet Steve has the echo sounder going full time off that coast - imagine a Torrey Canyon type slick? Except that this time it would prob be Guinness.

Steve knows exactly where the decent restaurants and bars are in Jard so, hey, do it! You could hook on to Pont D'Agen in the Bay of Biscay and get a tow all the way back up to Lands End afterwards ...... 22 knots for 8 hours would shake all the dust out of the bilges y'know

Thoroughly enjoying the Log. Wondered whether you'd be using the Crinan instead of sailing that desolate, rocky coast .. glad to see you did. Been hotter'n'hell in Brissle but thankfully cooling down now so while the veggies have been almost wilting in this heat maybe they'll now grow on a bit.

Kevin will wear his rhino head in a special Druid sea spirit incantation and naked mermaids will adorn Fremantle Square. The chant will be 'Sea kelp! Sea Kelp!' (get it?). So please supply fish tails, seaweed and seashells to protect vital parts (Jeremy only wants barnacles).

Got to leave youse for a bit now - off to Jard in the morning.
Mind, since you seem to be racing far too quickly up the left hand side of the werld, why not turn round, go downhill for about 1200 km and pull in to the Port de Plaisance at Jard and have a few scoops with me? You know it makes sense.

Hmm! Youse put a bit of a spurt on across that pond. At night? I'm thinking it must have been downhill for that bit, tis all, to get across that quick.
Waiting to see if youse jib off tieing up on the Liffey and doing the Brewery tour and instead keep going. Pfft. You'll tie up!

'orrigh, lah? Spared a (brief) thought for you Sat'dy. You may even have heard a lot of noise coming across the water from Bridgy on Sat'dy after a 3-4 aet Play Off win.
Glad to see those sails on the little map still look encouragingly white ... clearly, no ale been spilled then?
Keep nice and close hauled and don't let yr keks trail in that wet stuff.

Lucky you ! Enjoy yourslves. The Westerly Owners Magazine last quarter had an article by a cgap who did similar - also in a Fulmar - but he went round the West coat of Ireland. Much bigger swell, but longer swell. See you some time in July, I hope. Peter
